Our Welding Services

OSTI provides welding application to job shops and has
recently developed a training school on site.

Our partnership with the Community College of Rhode Island Training Center has provided the manufacturing industries with many qualified welders.

Types Of Welding Services That We Offer

SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING (SMAW)
The most versatile process for welding ferrous and several nonferrous base metals using a coated electrode performed manually in all positions.
GAS METAL ARC WELDING (GMAW)
This process is performed manually and with automatic equipment. The process uses a continuous solid bare wire to provide the filler metal, with a shielding gas. Used on most metals for heavy production output.
FLUX CORE ARC WELDING (FCAW)
Similarities to Gas Metal Arc Welding with the difference being that the continuous filler metal wire is a tubular electrode that contains a flux which provides the shielded gas while in a welding mode. All position usage for a variety of components and assemblies.
TUNGSTEN INERT GAS WELDING (TIG)
Manual and automatic welding used for thin and light gauge base materials. Used for all alloys and ferrous metals in aircraft, machine shop, sheetmetal, piping systems, and other high tech materials.
