Non-Destructive Testing
A process that involves the
inspection, testing, or evaluation of materials, components and
assemblies.
Using the recommended practice
SNT-TC-1A for personal qualification and certification in nondestructive
testing.
Examinations are performed to
the requirements of all Codes and Standards.

We Perform The Following
Types Of Non-Destructive Tests
RADIOGRAPHIC EXAMINATION (RT)
X-ray performed on materials show cracks, porosity, lack of fusion,
inclusions, poor penetration and other internal defects. Film
readers evaluate for defects based on standards.
Field Laboratory Service available for immediate development and
results on site.
ULTRASONIC EXAMINATION (UT)
Used to test a variety of materials revealing subsurface and internal
discontinuities with ability to size defects. Procedures developed
are used according to standards will detect internal defects in
weldments, components, castings, forgings, and piping.
EDDY CURRENT/PHASE ANALYSIS (ET)
A process to locate discontinuities in tubing, bars, wires, etc.
also provides a test for differentiating alloys and materials
identity.
LIQUIED PENETRANT EXAMINATION (PT)
A physical chemical procedure designed to detect and expose discontinuities
locating cracks, porosity, laps, seams, and other surface discontinuities
rapidly and economically. Various types of wet and dry developers
using red dye, fluorescent penetrants and black light.
MAGNETIC PARTICLE EXAMINATION (MT)
Magnetic particle testing is a method of revealing surface and
slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferrous materials. It may
be applied to raw materials such as billets, bars, shapes; during
processes such as forming, machining, heat treating and electroplating
and in testing for service related discontinuities. Wet fluorescent
magnetic particle techniques are performed using black light examination.
VIDEO/BORESCOPE EXAMINATION
Evaluate and examine the interior of pipes, tubes, and components
requiring inspection of inaccessible areas. View in a pipe as
small as ½' and up to 45 feet in length with flexible and
rigid borescopes.
VISUAL EXAMINATION (VT)
Certified technicians perform visual inspection of welds and joint
fit-ups on structural and pipe assemblies and components based
on major codes, standards, and procedures.
